Chargers' Antonio Gates: Probable for Week 11

Gates (knee/hip) is considered probable for Sunday's game against the Chiefs.

Gates returned to a limited practice Friday, after sitting out Thursday's session, so it looks like he'll be a go for Sunday's 4:05 ET contest. The veteran tight end is coming off a six-catch, 69-yard effort in Week 9's loss to the Bears, a game in which he was targeted 11 times.
