Johnson suffered a torn meniscus during Sunday's practice and will require surgery, NFL.com reports.

Johnson's injury is a tough early development for the Chargers' offense. The veteran caught 45 passes for nearly 500 yards and scored three touchdowns in 10 games during his first year in San Diego, but will now be sidelined for an undetermined, but possibly lengthy, time period due to his knee injury. With him out, Dontrelle Inman and Javontee Herndon could slide up the Chargers' wide receiver depth chart.
