Daniel will visit the Jets on Monday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.

The Eagles signed Daniel to a three-year, $21 million contract (including $12 million guaranteed) last offseason, only to release him after an uneventful 2016 campaign in which he attempted just one pass. The 30-year-old career backup won't be paid so handsomely this time around, but the Jets likely would give him a shot to fight for the starting job. The Eagles signed Nick Foles to serve as a more affordable backup to Carson Wentz.
