Chiefs' Charcandrick West: Runs for 19 yards against Oakland

West carried the ball three times for 19 yards in Sunday's win over the Raiders.

The early returns on Jamaal Charles' comeback show him as a greater threat thus far to West's reserve role than Spencer Ware's starting slot. Through three weeks, West was averaging 24.7 offensive snaps per game and 7.3 touches while Ware was averaging 38.3 and 17, respectively. In the two weeks since Charles' return, Ware has actually increased his workload with 47 offensive snaps and 20 touches per game while West has gone south (11 offensive snaps per game and 4.5 touches). West wasn't much of a fantasy option to start off with. He's even less so in a reduced role.
