Ware has been getting the most snaps with the first-team offense as Jamaal Charles is behind schedule in his recovery from last year's torn ACL and has not yet regained the role of featured back, ESPN reports.
It looks like Ware could get the most carries in Week 1 or early in the season with Charles working in a reserve role or as part of a committee. Charcandrick West could also be part of the committee. What was thought to be a backfield with Charles as the main back now looks to be in flux with this report.
