Chiefs' Spencer Ware: Tough sledding in win over Broncos
Ware carried 17 times for 64 yards and caught both of his targets for an additional 32 yards in Sunday's 30-27 win over the Broncos.
Ware's longest run went for just seven yards en route to an average of 3.8 yards per carry, but a couple of nice gains as a pass-catcher allowed him to amass 96 scrimmage yards against the stout Denver defensive unit. He handed a short touchdown to Tyreek Hill on a wildcat play in the third quarter that could have sweetened his day for fantasy owners. Ware is the unquestioned lead tailback for a Chiefs offense that typically leans on the running game and will look to produce better results next week against the Falcons.
