Cassel played the fourth quarter of Thursday's 33-14 loss to the Panthers, completing 13 of 19 passes for 92 yards and a touchdown.

The score, to Cole Beasley, was the Cowboys' only touchdown of the day. Cassel stepped in after Tony Romo re-injured his clavicle being sacked on the final play of the third quarter, and while the team hasn't provided a firm diagnosis yet, it's likely that Romo will miss most of all of the remaining schedule. With little left to play for, Dallas could elect to give Kellen Moore a look in the starting lineup, but at the moment Cassel is once again at the top of their depth chart at QB.
