Maxwell (ankle) missed practice Wednesday, Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reports.
Although not elite, Maxwell may be the Dolphins best cornerback and will be relied upon to keep Antonio Brown in check Sunday if he can play. If Maxwell can't go, rookie Xavien Howard will once again see an expanded role in the Miami secondary.
