Dolphins' Reshad Jones: Season-ending injury feared
Jones is feared to have suffered a season-ending torn rotator cuff Sunday against the Steelers, NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports.
Jones is reportedly undergoing tests Monday to determine the full extent of his injury, but early indications don't appear promising. After not practicing all last week due to a groin ailment, Jones was still cleared to play in Sunday's surprising win over Pittsburgh, when he recorded five tackles (four solo) and intercepted a pass. One of the best safeties in the league, Jones is coming off a career-best 135 tackles and five interceptions last year, making his potential season-long absence a crushing blow the Dolphins will hope to avoid.
