Eagles' Carson Wentz: Scores first rushing touchdown
Wentz completed 24 of 36 passes for 254 yards and an interception, while rushing four times for 33 yards and a score in Monday night's loss to the Packers.
Wentz was without his top running back and saw his top wideout leave due to injury Monday, resulting in an underwhelming offensive performance from the Eagles. To his credit, though, Wentz accounted for Philadelphia's lone touchdown on the night, a one-yard rush during the first quarter. That marked the rookie's first career rushing touchdown, which compensated somewhat for Wentz going without a passing score for the third time in the past four weeks. After that tough stretch, Wentz at least gets to face the struggling Bengals this Sunday.
