Wentz (ribs) is still not 100 percent and will likely not play in Thursday's preseason finale against the Jets, Les Bowen of the Philadelphia Daily News reports.
Coach Doug Pederson revealed Monday that one of Wentz's injured ribs is still not healed, and the issue projects to keep him out for Thursday's game despite earlier reports that were more optimistic regarding his status. He'll likely head into the season No. 3 on the quarterback depth chart due to the injury, with Chase Daniel serving as Sam Bradford's primary backup for the time being.
