Full Disclosure: Benson and Beanie get it done

This season has been challenging for Fantasy owners, and Week 12 provided another great example with Beanie Wells . He finally took advantage of his matchup with the Rams.

In Week 9, we had Wells as the Start of the Week because he was playing St. Louis at home. He was coming off a great game at Baltimore with 14 Fantasy points, and we expected him to roll over the Rams. Well, he struggled with just three Fantasy points, and that started a downward spiral with 10 Fantasy points combined in his past three games.

Lucky for us, we decided to stand behind Wells again in the rematch with St. Louis, and he had a career-high 228 yards rushing, one touchdown and one fumble for 26 Fantasy points. He finished as the No. 1 running back this week.

Aside from Wells, there were some other strange moments in Week 12. Ryan Fitzpatrick and Steve Johnson made the Jets secondary look ordinary, Mike Shanahan committed to Roy Helu and Reggie Wayne decided to emerge from his Peyton Manning-induced coma.

The best part about our week, however, was Cedric Benson performance as the Start of the Week. As expected, he ran through the Browns for 18 Fantasy points, which matched his season-high in Week 1 -- also against Cleveland.

We'll find out if Benson, who has three touchdowns in his past two games, can stay hot in Week 13 in a tough matchup at Pittsburgh. With the way this season has gone, don't be surprised if Benson once again is a star.

Editor's note: The Fantasy points are based on a standard-scoring league with six points for all touchdowns.
