Brown has been released by the Giants, Tom Pelissero of USA Today reports.
Brown had been placed on the commissioner's exempt list and missed Sunday's game in London after the NFL re-opened its investigation into Brown, following the release of additional documents pertaining to his May 2015 arrest for domestic violence.
