Hip injury forces John Potter out of preseason game

Dolphins kicker John Potter left Saturday's preseason game against the Cowboys with a hip injury. Potter, who is competing against the injured Caleb Sturgis (groin) for the starting spot, may have sustained the injury while kicking a 26-yard field goal in the first quarter of the game. He did not return after the kick.
