In praise of two-quarterback leagues
Two-quarterback leagues seem to be gaining popularity, with good reason. They make sense in today's pass-happy NFL.
Two-quarterback leagues seem to be getting more popular. All the anecdotal evidence, the Fantasy chatter, indicates that.
Here's hoping that trend continues. Two-QB leagues make sense in today's pass-happy NFL because the Fantasy depth at the position is incredible.
Dalton was the No. 3 Fantasy QB last year, Rivers finished 4th, Newton 5th, Wilson 9th and Roethlisberger 10th. That's a lot of Fantasy production potentially sitting on benches in standard 12-team leagues.
Anyone who's been in a 2-QB league will tell you how drastically draft strategy changes. Instead of being able to wait on a quarterback, you have to draft two in the early rounds. Then you must decide how long you can wait before grabbing a third.
If you want to have more fun playing Fantasy, join at least one 2-QB league this year.
