Laurinaitis was released by the Rams on Friday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Laurinaitis experienced a drop in production over the past three seasons, and the Rams appear ready to move on from many of their veterans, cutting three players Friday. The move will save the team some extra money, while the veteran middle linebacker will now pursue other opportunities. Laurinaitis is a poster boy of durability, playing every game over his seven NFL seasons, and he hasn't recorded less than 100 tackles in a single campaign thus far. While the Rams may be done with him, there will likely be multiple teams interested in his services.
