Decker (hip) underwent surgery on his torn rotator cuff Tuesday, the New York Daily News reports.

Decker's shoulder injury ended his season after just three games in which he gathered in nine of 21 passes for 194 yards and two touchdowns. Prior to alleviating that concern, though, he had a procedure on his hip. Facing eight months of recovery, any setback could impact his availability at the outset of training camp in 2017. Once he's healthy, the Jets' uncertainty under center may have further negative ramifications as he enters his age-30 season.
