Lemonier was claimed by the Lions on Thursday, Dave Birkett of the Detriot Free Press reports.
Lemonier will provide Detroit with a much-needed pass-rushing presence, having recorded two sacks in eight games with the Browns earlier this season. If DeAndre Levy (knee) is limited in Week 15, Lemonier could see additional snaps against the Giants.
