Bell rushed for 25 yards and a touchdown on seven carries and added two catches and 57 yards through the air in Thursday's win over the Eagles.

Thursday's game featured Bell's first score since Week 3 and his 82 total yards were 26 more than any previous game this season. The stats don't necessarily show an accurate picture, however. Bell's touchdown and 56 of his total yards came after halftime, with the Lions up by multiple scores. He managed only three touches in the first half when the game was not yet in hand. Those who used their soothsaying skills to put Bell in their lineup on Thursday can count themselves lucky, but there is little reason for others to climb aboard. Rookie Ameer Abdullah more than doubled Bell's touches and, as the season continues, Bell will continue to have to compete with Theo Riddick for time behind Abdullah.
