The Patriots have traded Bostic to the Lions in exchange for a conditional seventh-round draft pick in 2017, ESPN's Mike Reiss reports.
Bostic ended up being the odd man out after New England signed Shea McClellin and then drafted Kamu Grugier-Hill and Elandon Roberts. He'll bolster the Lions' depth at linebacker, with his capabilities well-understood by GM Bob Quinn, formerly the Patriots' director of pro personnel.
