Packers' Eddie Lacy: No practice Monday

Lacy (ankle) was listed as a non-participant on Monday's estimated injury report.

At multiple junctures in Sunday's loss to the Cowboys, Lacy received treatment on his left ankle when the offense was off the field, but the injury didn't stop him from receiving a team-best 17 carries, which matched a season high. A substantial workload was likely after James Starks underwent surgery on a torn meniscus Sunday, but the possibility now exists for management to promote Don Jackson from the practice squad or otherwise add another running back to the fold. Whether the preceding comes to pass, Lacy will likely log more time with the training staff than on the practice field this week in anticipation of Thursday's tilt versus the Bears.
