Packers' Eddie Lacy: Will not practice Wednesday

Head coach Mike McCarthy said Wednesday morning that Lacy (ankle) will not take part in the Packers' final practice session of the week, Wes Hodkiewicz of Packers.com reports.

McCarthy did not comment on a report that surfaced Tuesday night indicating Lacy would miss several weeks with his ankle injury, but he did note that the Packers are still in the process of evaluating Lacy's health. Lacy has not practiced at all this week, so his chances of playing in Week 7 do not appear promising. Knile Davis, Ty Montgomery, Randall Cobb and Don Jackson are all options to receive carries for the Packers on Thursday if Lacy is unable to suit up.
