Panthers defensive end Charles Johnson (hamstring) won't play Week 4 against the Bucs, coach Ron Rivera said Monday.
Johnson suffered a significant hamstring injury during Sunday's win over the Saints and will consequently miss Carolina's Week 4 contest. While the Panthers' Week 5 bye allows Johnson another week to get healthy, it remains to be seen whether his injury will hamper him beyond the next couple weeks.
