Boston (knee) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday, Bryan Strickland of the Panthers' official site reports.
Boston injured his knee in Saturday's loss to the Flacons and the specifics of the injury have yet to be disclosed. It's unclear how severe the injury or if it will linger into offseason workouts. Travell Dixon was signed off the practice squad to fill the roster spot vacated by Boston.
