Amendola was on the field for 17 of 73 snaps on offense in the Patriots' 22-17 win over the Jets on Sunday, en route to catching his only target for eight yards, ESPN's Mike Reiss reports.

At this stage, Amendola slots in behind not only Julian Edelman and Chris Hogan, but also rookie Malcolm Mitchell, who caught five passes (on 34 snaps) for 42 yards and a pair of TDs on Sunday. As long as Edelman (whom Amendola effectively backs up) remains healthy, Amendola is unlikely to see a high target volume in the Patriots' offense.
