Patriots' Julian Edelman: Bouncing back from foot surgery

Though Edelman underwent surgery on his left foot this offseason, the wideout is reportedly on track to be ready for training camp, ESPN.com reports.

Per the report, Edelman was recently spotted in New York City sporting a "big boot" on his foot, after undergoing what is described as a "cleanup procedure" that is not expected to affect his status for the coming season. In the absence of any setbacks, Edelman is set to reprise his role as the Patriots' top receiver in 2016, with Danny Amendola and Chris Hogan next up in the team's wideout pecking order.
