Brady (suspension), who sat out Thursday's preseason game against the Bears after accidentally slicing his thumb on a pair of scissors, "will be OK in time," according to his agent, Don Yee, NFL.com reports.
Leading up to Thursday's contest, Brady had been expected to see his first preseason action, but what the report refers to as a "minor injury" forced coach Bill Belichick to turn to backup Jimmy Garoppolo, who in any case is in line to start the Patriots' first four regular-season games while Brady serves a suspension.
