Austin was absent from Wednesday's practice due to a chest injury, Myles Simmons of the Rams' official site reports.

With Jared Goff under center the last two games, Austin has hauled in five of six passes, caught a touchdown, and rushed three times for 18 yards. Aside from a catch rate of 53.4 percent with Case Keenum running the show, the production more or less mimics what Austin posted in the first half of the season, but if an improved rapport is indeed a byproduct of working with Goff, the wideout could become a more consistent option. First, though, Austin must overcome his current ailment, which will be viewed closely as the weekend draws closer.
