Campanaro was extended an original-round tender by the Ravens on Tuesday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Baltimore Sun reports.

By placing the original-round tender on Campanaro, the Ravens will receive a compensatory draft pick should he be signed to an offer sheet elsewhere. With that, the Ravens would get a seventh-round selection if Campanaro leaves. Campanaro is a shifty and athletic fourth-year player who has primarily shown promise in the return game, but his contributions as a receiver have been minimal to this point in his career. Whether he stays in Baltimore or signs with another club, Campanaro's ceiling would likely be as a returner and No. 4 wide receiver.
