Wallace failed a conditioning test that he will need to pass before he's allowed to practice, the Baltimore Sun reports.

Wallace may get another chance to pass the test Thursday, prior to the Ravens' first full-squad practice of training camp. He did hit five of the six benchmarks on the test, suggesting it shouldn't be long before he's on the field. Wallace signed a two-year, $11.5 million contract in March, despite posting a 39-473-2 receiving line for the Vikings last season. It initially appeared he might need to compete for snaps, but with Steve Smith (Achilles) and Breshad Perriman (knee) uncertain for Week 1, the Ravens may end up relying on Wallace more than originally expected.
