As expected, Boyle (suspension) was added to the active roster Saturday, Jamison Hensley of ESPN reports.
Boyle was suspended for 10 games after violating the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing drugs. On a roster with only two healthy tight ends, Boyle will help add depth and help out in the blocking department. Cornerback Asa Jackson was waived in a corresponding roster move.
