Redskins' Jordan Reed: Likely sitting out Sunday
Reed (shoulder) isn't expected to play in Sunday's game at Arizona, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Players are rarely ruled out in the middle of game preparation, but once the final injury report of the week is released Friday, the Redskins are a candidate to rule out Reed. With the most severe AC joint separation (Grade 3) in tow, his range of motion has been compromised, while head coach Jay Gruden called Reed's lack of activity Wednesday the result of "a lot of pain." Even if the Redskins decide to delay a decision until Sunday afternoon, Reed seems poised to yield tight end to veteran Vernon Davis for at least one week.
