Panthers defensive end Charles Johnson sustained a hamstring injury Sunday against the Saints and could miss "several" weeks, Joe Person of the Charlotte Observer reports.

Johnson left in the second half with only one assisted tackle on the ledger, bringing his season-long line to five tackles (two solo) and one sack. His diagnosis should be known within the the next few days, but Mario Addison and Wes Horton (shoulder) are present to pick up the slack at defensive end in Johnson's stead.
