Patriots wide receiver Aaron Dobson will be placed on injured reserve after sustaining a serious hamstring injury Sunday against the Packers, a source has told the Boston Herald. He will miss the rest of the season.

The severity of the injury has yet to be disclosed, but he was ruled out of the game almost immediately after leaving in the third quarter. He did not practice Wednesday.

Dobson, who underwent major ankle surgery in March, has played in just four games this season and has three catches for 38 yards.
