Saints' Coby Fleener: Productive in limited snaps

Fleener caught all four of his targets for 59 yards in Sunday's win against the Rams.

Fleener made a couple of nice catches in this one, including a 31-yard grab deep over the middle in the second quarter. Still, Fleener only played on 18 of the Saints' 74 offensive snaps (24 percent), according to the New Orleans Times-Picayune, whereas tight end Josh Hill led the position with 58 snaps (78 percent). Normally, a high snap total for Hill is reflective of the Saints running well, which they did Sunday, but he also added six catches for 74 yards, both of which are career highs. While Fleener was likewise productive, he continues to lose playing time to Hill, a troubling trend for his fantasy owners. Fleener remains the more dangerous receiving threat between the two options, which gives him upside in the Saints' explosive offense, but until his snap count rises, Fleener will remain a high-risk player in most leagues.
