Saints inside linebacker David Hawthorne took a pay cut of $1.25 million for 2015 and $1.75 million for 2016, reports ESPN.com. The 29-year-old had 83 tackles, three sacks and an interception in 12 games last season.
Hawthorne is now scheduled to make $3.25 million this season and $2.25 million in 2016.
