Saints' Mark Ingram: Tending to injured toe

Ingram was unable to practice Wednesday due to a toe injury.

Diagnosed with a concussion in the Saints' Week 11 loss at Carolina, Ingram took advantage of a long layoff and missed no game action. The running back was key in powering a 49-point assault against the Rams on Sunday, turning 14 carries into 146 yards and one touchdown. He also tacked on a 21-yard touchdown reception among his two targets. With a toe injury in tow, his practice reps will again be monitored with a watchful eye, but he fortunately has two more sessions to make his presence felt.
