Seahawks wide receiver Chris Matthews shocked the football world during the Super Bowl when he caught four passes for more than 100 yards -- four more than he had caught in his brief NFL career.

But Matthews wants to be more than a fluke, and per NFL.com, he's worked hard to ensure that he's part of Seattle's offense throughout the season. He has a chance to potentially earn a starting role when the team holds its training camp next month.

"Last year was a lot of ups and downs for me," Matthews said. "I was just trying to figure out what was best for me. How can I fit in? The biggest thing was when I understood practice means a lot here. You practice hard, you play hard, is what a lot of people say here. I picked that up and embraced it."
