The Texans announced Monday that linebacker Brian Cushing, rookie defensive tackle Louis Nix and linebacker Trevardo Williams would begin training camp on the Physically Unable to Perform list. They are allowed to come off the list at any time between now and the start of the regular season.
Cushing is coming back from a torn knee ligament and a broken fibula. Head coach Bill O'Brien is unsure when exactly he'll return to practice. Nix has a meniscus injury he's dealing with. Williams was placed on IR before last season with an injury.
