Texans' T.J. Yates: Heading back to bench

Yates, who filled in at quarterback for Brian Hoyer (concussion) in Sunday's win over the Jets, is expected to head back to the bench next week against New Orleans, the Houston Chronicle reports. "Hoyer is our starter," head coach Bill O'Brien said. "When he comes back, when he's healthy, he'll come back in there and we've spoken to T.J. about that."

Hoyer's concussion symptoms have improved significantly and is expected to start against the Saints in Week 12. Yates completed 16-of-34 for 229 yards and two touchdowns in Week 11, a 24-17 win over the Jets.
