Mercilus, who missed organized team activities due to a hamstring injury, expects to be ready for training camp, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports. "I'm feeling good, starting to get healthy," Mercilus said earlier this week during his youth football camp at Stephen F. Austin High School in Houston. "I've been here for an extra two weeks since we've been out just rehabbing and things like that, just making sure I'm on pace to make it back for training camp."

Mercilus will travel to Los Angeles for the next step in his recovery to work with a specialist. The four-year veteran, who has a career total of 30 sacks, is coming off his best NFL season having recorded 12 sacks. He's a sneaky IDP play on the Texans' defense which boasts the most sought-after IDP in J.J. Watt.
