Dave Richard and I had a good discussion on Daily Fantasy Live on Tuesday about selecting cash running backs. I thought that Devonta Freeman was a pretty clear option, and Dave was more interested in the $7,000 backs because it would be easier for them to hit value.

I'm not saying there's a wrong way, but I will say that I'm looking for safety and security out of my cash game running backs. Freeman's bad games this season have been in the mid-teens. I'll talk more about him later, but watch the segment if you get a chance. I think it provides some insight into how the two of us set our lineups.

New England Patriots (27.75) vs. Buffalo Bills: I'm not sure how instructive it is to look at the Patriots last game with Buffalo. That was a game with Julian Edelman and Dion Lewis, both of whom will be unavailable in Week 11. I'd say it's at least safe to say the Patriots likely won't have the same success on offense.

Danny Amendola ($6,100) is the best value and Brandon LaFell also has to be considered. You can't ignore Tom Brady ($9,200) or Rob Gronkowski ($8,400) but I don't have a lot of use for LeGarrette Blount ($7,400). Looking strictly at the numbers, Brady will be my top cash quarterback and Amendola will be my favorite target to pair with him.

Atlanta Falcons (26.75) vs. Indianapolis Colts: I can't imagine not playing Devonta Freeman ($9,100) in cash on FanDuel this weekend. Freeman possesses absolutely everything you desire in a cash game running back including a great matchup at home as a favorite. His upside is an added bonus that shouldn't be overlooked.

I'm more conflicted about Matt Ryan ($7,800) and Julio Jones ($9,100). Ryan's price is right and he should have some touchdown regression coming. Of course, that doesn't mean it's coming this week. Julio will be near impossible to fit in my cash lineup but I'll use him heavily in tournaments.

Leonard Hankerson ($5,000) and Jacob Tamme ($5,300) are an either/or this week depending on Hankerson's health. If the WR plays he'll join Steve Johnson and Amendola as my favorite value plays at the position. If he sits again, Tamme will be a top five tight end.

Seattle Seahawks (26.5) vs. San Francisco 49ers: Ugh. I don't like the Seahawks offense at all and I won't be touching them in cash despite what Vegas projects. Tournaments are another story.

The 49ers have been absolutely atrocious on the road this season, surrendering 147 points in four games. They've allowed DeAngelo Williams, Chris Johnson, Shane Vereen and Todd Gurley to accumulate 498 total yards and 7 touchdowns in those four games. If Marshawn Lynch ($8,100) is healthy he should be highly owned.

Russell Wilson ($7,600) and Jimmy Graham ($5,800) should rightly have low ownership. They've both been colossal disappointments and I get it if you're holding a grudge. I still think they should be considered in a matchup this great as low as their ownership will be.

Carolina Panthers (26) vs. Washington Redskins: While everyone will shy away from Wilson and Graham, I'd expect them to run towards Cam Newton ($8,600) and Greg Olsen ($6,400). I'm not so sure I'll be running with them.

Washington has quietly turned in a couple of impressive performances against Tom Brady and Drew Brees the past two weeks. For the season they're allowing 17 FD points per game to opposing quarterbacks. That is not a good matchup. The stack I'm most likely to play in this one is Jonathan Stewart ($7,000) and the Panthers D ($4,900).

We've definitely covered the best cash option at running back in Freeman and I think both Lynch and Stewart make fine options as well. DeMarco Murray ($7,600) and Lamar Miller ($7,400) are two other backs that should be considered.
