Vikings running back Adrian Peterson racked up 126 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries in Sunday's home win over the Chargers.

Peterson was held in check in the season opener at San Francisco, but in the last two games he has exploded for 318 total yards and a pair of touchdowns. He was not targeted with a pass after reeling in five balls in the first two games, but his 6.3 yards per carry and a couple of trips to the end zone more than made up for his lack of involvement in that department.

Peterson will continue to get as many touches as he can handle as the focal point of the Vikings offense, and he will be leaned upon once again as they travel to take on the Broncos in Week 4.
