Week 5 Fantasy Football Matchups

/ Senior Fantasy Writer

Chris Johnson remains a hot topic in Fantasy, for obvious reasons. He had his first 100-yard game last week, churning his way there on 23 carries against the Browns. Some will tell you he's closer than ever to having one of his signature big-stat games.

Week 5 won't be it.

Sure, Pittsburgh looked more like a straw curtain than a steel curtain at Houston last week, but you have to give some credit to the organization. For years, they've been among the tops against the run. But specifically last week they struggled to finish tackles and couldn't stop Foster, who looked excellent.

And that's the thing: Foster looked sharp, Johnson hasn't. If Johnson runs like we've seen him run so far this season, the Steelers aren't going to look awful. They might yield 100 total yards to him, but they won't be embarrassed like they were last Sunday. Even without James Harrison the matchup against the rest of the Titans offense suggests that they'll still focus their attention on Johnson, and that could mean another day of tough sledding for the former first-round pick. Expect him to play like he did in Week 4, not better.
