The Seahawks re-signed defensive lineman Demarcus Dobbs to a one-year contract on Sunday. Dobbs' agent, Wesley Spencer confirmed the news on Twitter. Dobbs joined the Seahawks in November after being waived by San Francisco. He had six tackles in four games with the Seahawks.
As expected, Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch will play on Saturday against the Panthers. Lynch was listed as probable due to a back injury, but was never expected to miss the game. He's been battling the injury throughout the whole season, but has not missed a game. The team will also have Michael Bennett, Demarcus Dobbs, Cooper Helfet, Jermaine Kearse, Byron Maxwell and Tharold Simon for the game. All six players were also listed as probable going into the contest.
The Seahawks have listed Jeron Johnson (elbow) out and tight end Tony Moeaki (calf) as questionable for Sunday's playoff opener against Carolina. The following players on Seattle's injury report were labeled as probable: Michael Bennett (not injury related), Demarcus Dobbs (ankle), Cooper Helfet (ribs), Jermaine Kearse (hamstring), Marshawn Lynch (back), Byron Maxwell (illness), Tharold Simon (shoulder) and Max Unger (knee, ankle).
The Seahawks have listed DE Demarcus Dobbs, TE Cooper Helfet, WR Jermaine Kearse, OL Keavon Milton, CB Tharold Simon and OL Max Unger as inactive Week 17 against the Rams. Both Dobbs and Kearse had been ruled out prior to the contest. Helfet, Simon and Unger all came into the game listed as questionable. Helfet is dealing with a rib injury. Simon has a shoulder issue. Unger is battling knee and ankle injuries. Milton is a healthy scratch.
Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch is listed as probable for Week 17 against the Rams. Lynch was listed on the injury report with a back injury, but has been able to battle through the issue all season. He did not practice on Wednesday and Thursday, but was able to put in a full practice on Friday. The team should also have Tony Moeaki and Russell Okung. Both players were listed as probable on the final injury report. Cooper Helfet, Chris Matthews, Tharold Simon and Max Unger are listed as questionable, and will be game-time decisions. Both Demarcus Dobbs and Jermaine Kearse have already been ruled out for the contest.
