Rubin (wrist) does not appear on the Seahawks' injury report Wednesday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. Rubin sprained his wrist in Saturday's game versus the Cardinals so his absence from the injury report Wednesday evidences the injury likely isn't serious. Barring some sort of setback, Rubin appears in line to be ready for the Seahawks' season finale Sunday versus the Niners.
Rubin sprained his wrist in Saturday's loss to Arizona, Liz Mathews of ESPN reports. Rubin missed time on Saturday due to his sprained wrist and his status for Week 17 remains on clear. His ability to practice this week will provide greater insight in to his availability for Sunday's regular season finale against the 49ers. John Jenkins and Jarran Reed will figure to see increased roles if Rubin is sidelined.
Rubin (wrist) is questionable to return to Saturday's game against the Cardinals. Rubin's absence could prove significant Saturday given the Seahawks' lack of depth along the interior of their defensive line. Rookie Jarran Reed is the likely candidate to fill in at defensive tackle as long as Rubin is sidelined.
Rubin and the Seahawks agreed on a three-year deal Monday, Liz Mathews of ESPN reports. Rubin played in all 16 games for the Seahawks last season, resulting in 36 tackles, two sacks, and one interception. Barring something unforeseen, the 29-year-old will be in store for a similar workload in 2016.
Defensive lineman Ahtyba Rubin is signing with the Seahawks, according to NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport. Rubin, a seven-year player for the Browns, has started 11 or more games in five consecutive seasons. The 28-year-old has collected 338 total tackles, 12.0 sacks, five passes defensed and three forced fumbles.
