Stanford and defensive end Erik Williams.
The Lions signed defensive back R.J. Stanford on Tuesday, reports the Detroit Free Press. Stanford was one of five cornerbacks that worked out for the Lions on Tuesday. He has two interceptions during his five-year career.
The Dolphins have added a familiar face to its secondary. The team signed cornerback R.J. Stanford on Tuesday, according to the Palm Beach Post. Stanford spent part of the 2012 and the 2013 season with the Dolphins. He was waived by Cincinnati in the preseason and has yet to play in 2014.
The Bengals waived defensive tackle Larry Black, defensive back Isaiah Lewis, kicker Quinn Sharp and receiver Ryan Whalen and released cornerback R.J. Stanford.
