Cornerback Champ Bailey, who made 12 Pro Bowls with the Redskins and Broncos, announced his retirement. Bailey played 15 seasons and made 52 interceptions and 909 tackles in his brilliant career. He was released by the Saints right before this season.
Even though the Ravens did not sign veteran cornerback Champ Bailey following a workout last week, the team still has interest and have maintained contact with him, a league source told The Baltimore Sun. If signed, the Ravens could use Bailey as a No. 3/No. 4 cornerback or safety.
