The Texans signed linebacker Zac Diles and released cornerback Elbert Mack, reports the Houston Chronicle. Diles also played for Houston from 2007-10, recording 60-plus tackles three times.
The following injured Texans have been ruled active for Week 2 at Oakland: A.J. Bouye (shoulder), Brian Cushing (ankle), Arian Foster (ribs), Garrett Graham (back), Tim Jamison (groin), Andre Johnson (ankle), Johnathan Joseph (foot), Elbert Mack (foot), Mike Mohamed (quadriceps), Jay Prosch (hand) and J.J. Watt (ankle, illness).
The Texans have listed 10 players as probable Week 2 against the Raiders. Tight end Garrett Graham WR Andre Johnson, CB Johnathan Joseph, CB A.J. Bouye, OL Tyson Clabo, LB Brian Cushing, RB Arian Foster, DE Tim Jamison, CB Elbert Mack, LB Mike Mohamed, OL Chris Myers, OL Derek Newton, FB Jay Prosch, OL Xaier Su'a-Filo, DE J.J. Watt and DT Louis Nix II are all probable heading into the game. Defensive end Jadeveon Clowney was the only player ruled out for Week 2.
In addition to going without running back Arian Foster and wide receiver Andre Johnson, the Texans have listed the following players as out for Saturday's game against the Falcons: linebacker Brian Cushing; defensive backs Johnathan Joseph, Shiloh Keo, Lonnie Ballentine and Elbert Mack; guards Conor Boffeli and Brandon Brooks; tackle Will Yeatman; defensive tackle Louis Nix III; and wide receiver Mike Thomas.
