The Chargers have waived linebacker Kevin Reddick, U-T San Diego reports. Riddick filled a special-teams role after joining the active roster in late September.
The Chargers made several moves Tuesday, adding running back Shaun Draughn and linebackers Kevin Reddick and Cordarro Law to the active roster. The team also placed running back Danny Woodhead on injured reserve and released defensive lineman Lawrence Guy. The Chargers added three players to the practice squad Tuesday as well: running back D.J. Adams, tight end David Paulson and outside linebacker Colton Underwood. Adrian Phillips was released from the practice squad, while Marcus Cromartie was released from the reserved-injured list.
The Saints waived or released cornerback Rod Sweeting, linebackers Victor Butler, Rufus Johnson and Kevin Reddick, quarterback Logan Kilgore, tight end Travis Beckum, offensive tackle Manase Foketi and defensive tackle George Uko. The moves bring New Orleans' roster to the mandated 75-man limit.
Saints TE Josh Hill, RB Pierre Thomas, S Rafael Bush, LB Keyunta Dawson, LB Kevin Reddick, T Terron Armstead and G Jahri Evans are probable Week 17. All seven were able to get through full practice Friday. Thomas is dealing with an eye injury, but should play.
Saints running back Travaris Cadet (foot), offensive lineman Jahri Evans (back), defensive lineman Junior Galette (hamstring), linebacker Kevin Reddick (shoulder), offensive lineman Zach Strief (back) and wide receiver Nick Toon (chest), who were all listed as probable on Friday's injury report, are all active for Week 1 against the Falcons.
